CHESTER’S famous Grosvenor Hotel welcomes you to treat yourself to a spot of festive fun just before the chaos of Christmas commences.

Around 50 lucky guests will be spending the afternoon at the Belgrave Suite, one of the largest rooms in the hotel, for tea and an assortment of decadent delights.

Those who attend are certainly in for a treat as the entertainment for the evening will be the critically acclaimed ‘Handbag of Harmonies’ female choir. The female choir reached the final 15 of the BBC’s talent show ‘Last Choir Standing’.

Attendees are advised to prepare their singing voices as there will be some audience participation during the performance, including the Christmas classic ‘12 days of Christmas’.

The Cheshire based choir will perform for around one hour and then guests will be offered a selection of sandwiches, scones and biscuits to round off the evening.

Hannah Woodward, events co-ordinator at the Grosvenor Hotel said : “Everyone at the hotel is really looking forward to the event. It’s a welcome break just before Christmas and it gives people the chance for a few hours of relaxation and to just enjoy themselves.”

“The tickets for the event have almost sold out so we are hopeful it will be a big event. If it all works out fine this year then this is definitely something we could look into doing again next year.”

The event takes place at 2pm on Thursday 23rd December and tickets are still on sale for £35 so if you are interested then hurry as this is expected to sell out.
