SHOPPERS ARE BEING ENCOURAGED to get caught under this mistletoe this holiday season in a brand new competition.
The ‘#chesterkissmas’ campaign, launched by the Chester BID Company, is seeing residents from all across Chester get loved up for the chance to win a wide range of prizes.
All across Chester City Centre, special ‘mistletoe stations’ have been set up in which shoppers can snap a picture of a smooch under the mistletoe. To enter the competition, all people need to do is upload this picture to their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts with the hashtag, ‘#chesterkissmas’.
Here’s a quick look at some of the entries that have already been sent in.
Some of the many prizes up for grabs include luxury boxes of fudge, gift vouchers for some of Chester’s finest stores and restaurants and even a Christmas hamper from McDonalds. The competition runs until January 3rd, when the best overall Kissmas picture will be awarded a romantic dinner for two at the four-star ABode Hotel.
The results of each day’s competition will be announced on the official @visitchester_ Twitter page, which can be viewed here.
