Appeal renewed by police for missing James Bennion

Missing 20-year-old has connections to Ellesmere Port and Chester areas

MERSEYSIDE POLICE is continuing to appeal on the whereabouts of James Bennion, who was last seen on Sunday, December 8.

James was last seen at about 4.30am near Liverpool One bus station in Canning Place after leaving Baa Bar on Fleet Street and has connections with Ellesmere Port and Chester.

Detective inspector Craig Summer, said: I can confirm that James has been identified on CCTV footage, walking near to the Liverpool One bus station in Canning Place in Liverpool city centre at about 4.30am on Sunday. If anyone was at the bus station at that time and saw James please contact police.”

“I am appealing for anyone who has seen James since Sunday to contact Merseyside Police on either 0151 777 5337, the 101 police number or Missing People on 116000 Merseyside police have renewed their appeal after growing concerns for former Ellesmere Port man James Bennion who has been missing since Sunday”

James’s friends and family are very concerned as this is very out of character for him and broadcasted a television appeal for more information yesterday evening.

James is described as being white, 5ft9in with a slim build and short brown hair. He has a pale completion and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a picture of a record and the words ‘record’ in grey writing printed on the front of it and dark jeans.
